Roco have released their three-car sleeping car set, Cat. Nr 64028. I had been looking forward to this one since the announcement of the new items list in January but will be leaving both my pre-ordered sets at the dealer, reasons as follows:

1. WLABmh 175 (blue sleeper with blue square-ended roof) produced with beige square-ended roof with the skirts from a WLABmh 174 and tail lights in the wrong (central) position.

2. WLABmh 174 (red sleeper with beige round-ended roof) produced with skirts from a WLABmh 175 and tail lights in the wrong (lower) position.

I have decided never to order anything from Roco in advance again, the differences between the New Items brochures and the actual models are too significant and too unpredictable for the asking price. The Autumn New Items list is now available, and there are some attractive model versions in that list, but Roco's increasingly wayward model production means I won't be ordering any until I see the finished models at the dealers and only then might I take one or two with me.
