February 2008I have known Nigel for several years and also being in to model railways and engineering he "seemed suitable" to take round to see Grant's Squirrel Valley Railway - Grant had already said it was OK. I spent most of the day driving Grant's SR&RL 2-6-2. Nigel having never driven steam before was getting used to driving the DA diesel, then later he got some practice driving #24 around the loco servicing area before we came home. Here's some views from the day.
