Visit the official website: www.ravenglass-railway.co.uk Opened in 1915, the Ravenglass & Eskdale is one of the oldest miniature railways in the world and runs through the Lake District in the north of England. It is a delightful seven mile ride each way and I can thoroughly recommend a visit to the railway.
SYNOLDA, an original Bassett-Lowke 4-4-2. Though not
from the early years of the railway, it is identical to SANS PAREIL
that ran here from 1915
