7¼" gauge in the garden

Model narrow-gauge quarry Hunslets

 

I've always had a bit of a soft-spot for quarry Hunslets and these are some I have seen in my travels.

My Don Young designed 5" gauge Hunslet on the Salfords Light Railway

(loco now sold and railway dismantled)

 

3.5" gauge model of CHARLES built by Fred Winsall of the Rugby Model Engineering Society

5" gauge model of an "ALICE" class loco. This is a modified 7.25" design and is a large loco for 5". Built by J Fysh of Derbyshire

Beer Heights Light Railway #5 "LINDA"

Bob Jones of the Malden District Society of Model Engineers built JACKIE and named it after his wife. Seen at an open day in October 1989. The model is 7¼" gauge.
