To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Auckland Society of Model Engineers, they put on an open weekend and exhibition in early October 2009.

Alan Ure (with his 2-8-2T), John Bremner and myself went up for the day and these are some photographs of the event.

The exhibition have many fine models (not just locomotives, but also traction engines and stationary engines).
